  • NHL Rinksters – Once again the NHL is aggressively marketing to the next generation of fans with new media.  They recently launched a new on-line game for kids called NHL Rinksters.  There are free and paid premium versions of this virtual world where kids can create their own avatars, win prizes and go on different hockey themed quests.  –
  • CBS Sports Opens Site to App Makers – CBS is creating an iTunes type marketplace for fantasy sports app developers on  Fantasy sports is currently a billion dollar industry with millions of participants. –
  • Dbacks host sponsor awards banquet – The Dbacks broke new ground on Thursday by hosting an awards banquet to honor their sponsors complete with a red carpet, celebrity presenters and musical numbers.  The club gave away “DB’s” in eight categories including best activation, best integration and rookie of the year to name a few.
